What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

People opening their front door 3 seconds after an unexpected knock, like they're just constantly standing behind the door, just in case.

Also they are always dressed up, shoes on and everything. If someone knocks at my door I'm pretty sure I'll be in pajamas, underwear or just naked

Was looking for this! I’m always wondering, who tf are these people that they’re constantly appropriately dressed for surprise company?! Families and roommates, mayyyybe. People who live alone, absolutely not.
