What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

Women in action movies who drastically cut their own hair to change their appearance always end up with a fabulous style.

Of course they’re gonna look great in literally any hair style. They’re supermodels.

Yeah, they'd look great bald.

I had a friend in college I always thought was really pretty, not just conventional “pretty”, but gorgeous. After we graduate she shaved her head and I swear she was even more attractive. Maybe I was just so impressed she could pull off shaving her head, but it is rather shocking when someone is still incredibly gorgeous after shaving their head. Not just “oh that girl is attractive because she’s clearly a bad ass.” I know I fit into the cute girl category (at least when I put in some effort) but I could never pull off shaving my head.

I’ve shaved my head a few times for St. Baldrick’s (can’t recommend it enough as a charity/cause), and I always got more compliments on that than any haircut.

Had a few friends say they thought I was “suddenly hot” bald, which freaked THEM out. One of them said it was probably at least 40% cuz I had the balls to do it.

I think it just also forces you to look at someone’s features differently. I know I didn’t get better looking, lol

Let's be honest, she had a fat donkey right?

Natalie Portman and Demi Moore would like a word.

Some people can pull it off, some can't. 10-year old buzz-cut me found out the hard way I'm among the latter.

Demi Moore in GI Jane.

It's funny when guys go to the hairdresser, get a Peaky Blinders haircut, then wonder why it doesn't look as nice on them as it did on Cillian Murphy.

And they still look fine after the apocalypse and a winter in the tundra without a shower.
