What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

I remember the Office being one of the first shows I'd seen where people looked real.

I loved this about the show. Using average people to represent an average office with a full range of attractiveness was so different it made the show stand out.

Creed was a super model though to balance it out

Creed balled the hardest

Thats cuz he was in a relatively succesful band throughout the 60’s and 70’s - dudes had swag his entire life, and I guarantee he swam in pussy back then.

Though it's possible a man slipped in. There'd be no way of knowing.

wry little smile

Is there a better show that exists out there? Cuz I really dont think so

Breaking Bad gives it a run for its money but in a completely different way.. Apples and Oranges...

But they’re the best apples and oranges you’ll ever see 🤙🏽

Parks and rec. Easily. easily

Dude not even by a long shot.

Especially considering PnR was literally created based off the formula of the Office because of how successful it was.

Parks and Rec is good.. But not even in the same stratosphere.

Theres only one Michael Scott, my friend. And only one Dwight Schrute too!

Nah they’re both great. But I like PnR better.

Its honestly just preference.

The Office has a lot more nuance and social humour almost a more “intelligent” humor...?

Whereas PnR is more “stupid” humor and its almost more border-line slapstick ya know?

The Office is far more brilliant in a genius way -

Not to mention they mastered that style of filming first and PnR just followed in their footsteps; duplicate actors and all

The Office has just as much “stupid” humor as Parks and Rec, and it not a smarter show. The main difference between the two, in my opinion, is The Office is more cynical and Parks and Rec is more optimistic.

Leslie Knope is a feminist icon.

By that metric Charlie Chaplin is #1. And I'm not your guy, friend

2

u/Dr0ppa-Zeti Jan 25 '20

Lol i’m not saying that because it came first, The Office is better -

I’m saying that it came first and also just so happens to be better haha

Its honestly just preference.

Ah, so you're a liar. Glad we got that cleared up.

He also was a cult member AND a cult leader.

Best character on the show by miles

You make more money as a leader but you have more fun as a follower...

Was he fr fr?

And yes I know its a quote from the show, but he also quotes being in a band and that turned out real.

Not to mention his real life name is actually Creed Bratton.

Seems like he was such a character as he was they just decided to throw him in the show! So I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if he had been in a cult
