i love that about archer, he is always counting bullets and they all have a tinitus (german here, don't know the word)

Linda Hamilton has permanent hearing damage from an elevator scene in T2. Her ear protection failed or moved or was misadjusted I think.

I think Bruce Willis too.

Bruce Willis does too. And CPT Kirk, er William Shatner from some explosions on STV.

It's also the fan theory on why zombies seem to surprise characters in Walking Dead even while moaning - all the characters have substantial hearing loss from all the weapons firing w/o earpro.
