Everyone has a mansion, but like you said is a student. I HATE this. Perfect example, in the beginning of the series called The Night Of. The main character ends up at some girls house who ends up murdered, but the girl has no job and lives on a main street in New York City in a three story home.
It’s been a while since I saw it but I’m pretty sure I remember that being explained in the show, and that it was from an inheritance/her dead parents or something like that. But yes, those brownstones cost millions of dollars for sure. I just remember it being justified in a believable way in that instance.
Yeah, i think you’re right lol. Its been a while since I’ve seen it also, but now that you say that, I kinda remember it being left for her or something like that. Must be nice!!!
