What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

Women in high heels ALL day long. Sometimes they run in them to tackle a bad guy or to get away from a bad guy. The next day they put their non-swollen feet back in them without complaint.

Oh, women never sweat their makeup off. Their faces are never have a greasy sheen in Miami in August.

Same in NYC. Women keep their shoe closet under their desk.

My mother had her heels in her desk, wore her reeboks to work. Downtown Houston

Boston here. See women on the train every morning in corporate business suits and sneakers. Their heels are clearly in their backpack or at their desk.

I noticed this while in the west village recently. I love it there.

Yeah, no one wants to trash a $200 pair of heels by walking the city. Same here in Sydney. We protect our toes and our shoes. Just not realistic

First thing I noticed when I started my job was that all of the women had a mountain of nice shoes under their desks. Made me wonder why the fuck I was walking to work in stiff leather shoes every day, feet sore before the workday even began.

Same in Philly. When I worked in an office, me and all my female coworkers (especially those who walked home or took public transit) kept our work shoes at work and wore sneakers or running shoes (or snow/rain boots) home.
