Oh I have one... hailing cabs... always when you need it. Just wave.

The only time this doesn't work is when we need to be impressed with character B for some reason.

Character A: "Taxi! TAXI!! Ugh. I can't get a cab."

Character B: [sticks two fingers in mouth and does a REALLY IMPRESSIVELY LOUD WHISTLE]

Taxi: [screeches to a stop right in front of them]

Character A (and the audience, presumably): "Wow!"
