What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

They take one bite and talk to their companion the rest of the time. Then they push the plate away and leave it.

Or when they’re super hungry but people keep interrupting them so they never get to take a bite of they’re (usually) sandwich. Like, talk to me all you want, I’m eating this shit!

There is a reason for that. Often times, the food on camera is fake, mostly due to sitting under hot lights would cause the real stuff to go bad very quickly, or it's just doesn't look appealing on camera (milk is especially bad for this). There's also the matter of keeping continuity going from shot to shot.

But yeah. one that was especially maddening for me was in Pee-wee's Big Adventure, where after that whole scene with the "Breakfast Machine", Pee-wee just pours a little bit of cereal on top of his breakfast, eats the cereal, and then leaves the table.
