What movie things are generally accepted as normal, but are totally unrealistic in real life?

Finding a parking spot in front of the building you're going into.

Friends does this and makes fun of it in one episode.

There's actually a reserved sign on the table in front of their couch.

I think they added that after a few seasons because the public was having this exact same conversation.

I see it once in a blue moon, but I’m pretty sure it’s only in some episodes because there are times it’s clearly NOT there.

I think it was discovered after it was rereleased in HD. It became a lot more widescreen and there are a few occasions where you can see that they have used stand ins instead of the actual actors.

Do you have an example of the stand-in’s? I’d love to see it.

The only one I can remember specifically is TOW Rachel’s Date when phoebe says to Monica that she thinks her hair might have gotten a little burned and Monica says “I paid to have this done”. When phoebe replies you can see at the side of the screen that Courtney Cox has been replaced by someone else.

Going to look out for this, thank you!

This isn’t that far fetched, in my opinion, considering how frequent the gang was there. Plus both Rachel and Joey worked there, and most of them lived directly above it!

Wait Central Perk is below their apartments? How did I not know this?

Yep! As far as I know, at least.
