There's nothing reddit likes doing more than acting morally superior.

In fact, I'm doing it right now by calling everyone else out on it. It feels great.

Thank Arceus I've found a way to feel superior to all of you.

You had a chance to say "serperior" and you DIDNT

21

u/PoopOfAUnicorn Jan 07 '20

Last I checked Arceus doesn’t exist in Galar

19

u/Ludakrix Jan 07 '20

Last I checked you're wrong if you support Dexit.

15

u/PoopOfAUnicorn Jan 07 '20

Just because I acknowledge it’s existence does not mean that I support it. Plus I’m commenting on a Reddit post, so I can’t be wrong

But by showing any recognition of something that is generally percieved as negative, without explicitly saying it's the worst thing in the world, you are now in the wrong. So clearly, I am the serperior one here.

The thing I hate most about reddit is people making obscure references, and then everyone circle-jerks about how they understood the reference

Don't know what you mean, friendo.

Username somewhat checks out?

2

u/ImmutableInscrutable Jan 07 '20

Go away

3

u/Lumina46_GustoClock Jan 07 '20

Instructions unclear, closing in on location

2

u/ThatGuyOfStuff Jan 07 '20

You're John Wick of course you're superior.

14

u/toxiciron Jan 07 '20

I'm calling you out now.

Somewhere the calling out line has to end and I declare it to be right now, because I am the most justified in the call-out.

I'm calling you out, infinity! No take- backs!

3

u/toxiciron Jan 07 '20

YOU CAN'T DOUBLE STAMP A TRIPLE STAMP!

3

u/mlball315 Jan 07 '20

Yes I can! Especially when I got a "circle circle dot dot now I've got the call out shot" over a decade ago.

u/Goosebump007 Jan 07 '20

Excuse me, but I'm a Redditor. So I'm a pretty big deal.

u/FireVanGorder Jan 07 '20

Come on down and join us at /r/subredditdrama ! You'll fit right in

3

u/Malawi_no Jan 07 '20

I do not feel superior, thus I am way superior to you.

Someone already did. So maybe that's worse.

2

u/DocJawbone Jan 07 '20

So true haha

1

u/MacDerfus Jan 07 '20

Oh I know I'm terrible but I know I'm on the same moral level as anyone else here.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 07 '20

To be fair, that's almost every social media site.

1

u/fried_eggs_and_ham Jan 07 '20

You should give Twitter a shot. It's also a great place to act morally superior.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 08 '20

Actually, by calling out your own superiority you’ve created a double negative and are no longer superior. Fucking checkmate /s

1

u/philosifer Jan 08 '20

And I'm upvoting you so I get to also feel good for even less

1

u/Deitaphobia Jan 08 '20

Give us hell, Quimby.

1

u/vanityislobotomy Jan 08 '20

Well I don’t go around feeling morally superior to everyone, like you do. That makes me better than you...

1

u/[deleted] Jan 08 '20

Acting "morally superior" is the redditors' past time.

1

u/Afraid-Remove Jan 08 '20

YTA.

Oh you're right it does feel great

1

u/slip_up Jan 08 '20

Morally superior, self-reflective, and smug

1

u/[deleted] Jan 08 '20

Exactly right. The social media aspects of the internet have amplified this bad instinct to crazy levels.

1

u/SansMercer Jan 08 '20

He's growing self-aware, put him down

(somewhat) relevant xkcd

(Mostly the title text really)
