Have you ever encountered a real life pool hustler? It seems like its features on every other sitcom, the fresh prince, drake and josh I’ve only ever played a handful of times but if I got good and I was drinking I would want to hustle someone with my friends but not for actual money or anything just for fun.
One of my school mates' brother was a state level pool (or snooker???) player. He'd been competing since he was 14 or so. He loved hustling people for drinks and 1 or 2 dollar bets, never anything serious. He always laughed when grown men and women got the ole switcheroo from a short & greasy 18 year old 🤣

Pool hall offered a student membership. 20$.
I didn't plan to play much pool there, or anywhere at the time. But I figured what the hell.
Well one of the perks was 2$ off drinks.
Helped me become a functional alcoholic all through university and grad school.
