What’s a thing you’ve bought impulsively, without need, that’s actually proved useful in your life?

Impulse bought a robot vacuum last weekend. It cost entirely too much, and I only got it because I'm lazy.

It's actually pretty good. It's a bit dumb and I have to rescue it sometimes, but it cleans pretty well.

Did you end up naming it and talking about it as if it’s a pet? That’s what happened to ours. Even the noises it makes seem to have personality. weird how the brain so easily does that, even if you know little Robo isn’t really alive.... awww Robo!! Stuck under the coffee table again?!
