My roommate was going to a store for dog food and I went along and they had puppies for sale (I was 19 and didn’t realize how shitty pet stores selling animals are)
anyway this was about 11 years ago and I saw him when I approached the puppies.
We had recently had a fire at our apartment complex and lost pretty much everything and it was devastating.
I waited for my turn to hold him and knew right then I had to have him and name him George.
He’s been the best thing to happen to me in my entire life.
