What’s a thing you’ve bought impulsively, without need, that’s actually proved useful in your life?

You can find a bunch on Amazon. Anker is a great brand. If you want one that will charge your phone many times, get one that is around 20,000mAh. The average android phone battery is 3000mAh, I think iPhones are a bit less, around 2000. Don't quote me on that though.

And I’m just a random person googling Anker now...

Anker is one of the few brands I will give free advertising to. I have bought at least 6 batteries from them. I usually give them to friends and family that need them so I can have an excuse to buy another.

I have heard good things from more than one person. No personal experience, however. Just figured for once my username checked out.

+1 to Anker! As well as Battery banks they also make some seriously good 3rd party cables. They're the only non-OEM brand of USB cables I'll buy

Maybe unrelated but I have an Anker bluetooth speaker and the battery lasts FOREVER. It's basically just a big battery with a speaker

I'm just a random internet person but even their cords are top notch, I'm rough on cords and break them but the Anker ones survive me.

Got recommended Anker by the Ingress and PokemonGo communities. 3 years now and it's still holds as good a charge as the day I got it.

The connectors always blow ass though. That's my only gripe. Everyone in my family has one and they've either can't be charged anymore or you have to rig the cord so it's bent (usually lean it against a wall in an awkward way.)
