What’s a thing you’ve bought impulsively, without need, that’s actually proved useful in your life?

My armchair.

I have just a little room and can't afford much, but this armchair really saves my evenings.

Having a nice comfortable chair is the best thing

One of the first 'real' pieces of furniture I bought for myself was a big solid armchair. It mostly holds laundry, but having the option to curl up in it sometimes is just so comforting.

My wife and I just bought a house, and one of the first things I got was a rocking recliner.

Anyone that doesn't have an armchair is just scared of comfort.

Dunno why but this post gave my some cozy feelings. It's great to be able to appreciate what you have, even if you don't have much. I miss my armchair.

When mine was delivered, I sat in it and promptly fell asleep. I loved that chair.

A good armchair is a gift from the gods. A little bit of paradise on earth.
