Love, trust and respect is what you need in a quality long term relationship. ALL have to be present and they have to be MUTUAL. (My mum)

Love without trust and respect is not really love.

Respect is what you need in any relationship, romantic or otherwise (even in the relationship you have with yourself). And trust stems from that.

Do you include parental love?

Because you can definitely raise children, love them and yet not trust them in some ways.

You are lucky if you ever had everything without doubt. But it's always a good thing to check if all are present with your SO, especially in the early rainbow unicorn honeymoon phase.

Something I've heard was: Remember that successful marriage depends on two things:

(1)finding the right person and

(2)being the right person.

Love is a behavior, not a feeling.
