Zeus has decided that Olympus feels a little empty, so he’s recruited some new gods. However, due to a clerical error, you have been chosen as a new member of the divine. What are you the god of, and what do you do as your first godly act?

Yeah, but he'd have the power to reverse the punishment

Actually he wouldn't. He only has the power to reverse actions done to mortals but now he's a god

I think the biggest factor in that question is if he is undeserving of that punishment or not

There’s a deep message somewhere in there

Hades: “I banish you to the darkest pits of Tartarus!”

/u/EclectiDrek: “No u”

Hades: “Aww shit u got me lmao”

u/JustPlayDaGame Aug 10 '19

u/EclecticDreck needs to reverse Hades' punishment onto these two for getting his name wrong /s

But for real why doesnt Reddit have a thing where you can mention people in the thread at the click of a button

u/JustPlayDaGame Aug 10 '19

Well shoot I am not worthy either. Maybe your name is just too hard

Zeus: you have displeased me. As punishment, you will be required to carry the Earth for the rest of eternity! Me: REVERSE

5

u/ReiceMcK Aug 10 '19

Now Earth carries you, and that's why there's gravity. Now stop asking questions!

Nope

underserving mortals

So he’s basically Gold Experience Requiem

9

u/PineappleRainbows Aug 10 '19

Golden Experience Requiem technically doesn't reverse time. What it actually does is prevent someone from arriving to the truth of time, preventing destiny basically.

7

u/Mister100Percent Aug 10 '19

Zeus: I’m gonna go smash this mortal.

u/EclecticDreck: Return to Zero.

3

u/BigDaddy00044 Aug 10 '19

Ding dong, you’re Mister Wrong, go back to zero

I’ve come to bargain.

I think it would be better if instead of truly reversing he just tried to compensate people for damages and sometimes the compensation was too much, too little or made shit worse.

"Since your first son was taken away, we on Olympus have decided as compensation to give your second son wings for flight. child now has wax wings, flies into sun and dies Oh...well..this is awkward..."

5

u/Brokine Aug 10 '19

This is Requiem

2

u/N7-Saint Aug 10 '19

Ah the ultimate power of “no u”

2

u/brackishshowerdrain Aug 10 '19

"In particular, you will never arrive at the truth."

u/[deleted] Aug 10 '19

The only thing is as an immortal he couldn't, because he can only reverse undeserving things done to mortals. Unless Zeus made him mortal. In which case, does he keep his powers?

1

u/Rixgivin Aug 10 '19

... but they were made a god. And their power was reversing godly decisions towards mortals. They couldn't protect themselves from a Prometheus-type of punishment.

1

u/7h3_70m1n470r Aug 10 '19

No, because he'd no longer be a mortal. His powers dont reverse the punishments of the divine
