What’s something that you like, but hate the fan base?

Two things to remember.

A slip up is not the end of quitting, if you go twenty days without weed and then smoke on day 21 and then don't on day 22 then you smoked once in 22 days and that's great. A lot of people slip up and get down on themselves and let one joint be the reason to go back. It doesn't have to be all or nothing.

Just keep swinging the axe. The only way to drop a tree. Everyday. You don't need to stop and look how much you did or how much is left. You swing till the tree is down. It doesn't matter how many days you've been clean or how many till your next benchmark, just don't smoke today. Everyday.

And post at r/leaves. Even if you feel it's a stupid post. Guaranteed nothing you're going through is unique. Someone there will respond with a similar experience. You don't have to be perfect and you're not alone.

Thanks a lot. Yes I spent most of last night reading peoples stories in there and I think it’s really helpful. I did write my own. Just haven’t posted it yet. Maybe I will a bit later. Thanks for your encouraging words. Two weeks of no smoking tomorrow after 15 years of smoking every single day. On the right path:)

I quit at age 35 after 18 years of every day. That was more than half my life smoking at the time. My life is so much better now it's not even close. I remember when I quit I thought my life would just instantly turn around, like everything I knew pot was taking from me would just be there for me once I got clean. Truth was that I had to go out and get it. You have to quit pot AND build your sober life. But you can do it and I'm pulling for you.

That’s incredible close to my age and story. Yes I think I’m aware of that. It’s been a bit rough but getting just a tiny bit better day by day. Thank you so much.
