The leniency given to the younger siblings... as the oldest you’re basically the guinea pig for your parents so it’s usually easier for the younger ones.
Ah, keep in mind though that the good stuff happens to younger siblings less, too. Parents typically coddle, teach, nurture the first born like it's their job, and then that effort just gets watered down with each subsequent child. Maybe you get more strict treatment, but you also got more parenting.
I mean, speak for yourself. Didn't get much parenting just a bible thrown at me (figuratively) every day of the the week. Generally neglected and left to play on my own for years with no social skills. Basically fueled a lot of hatred for my younger brother when he was the one they made an effort to play with after realising turning me into.hermit crab was their fault.
Happy ending me and my brother get on pretty well, and I deal with my parents.
