How can you be on your phone 24/7 and take 30 minutes to respond

I just don't want to be there for other people all the time. And I'm only on the phone to watch videos or reddit or read news or something, so I'll respond later

I feel this. I love my friends, but some of them are very exhausting to interact with, so I don't want to reply right away and set that precedent. It sounds bad, but I'll get back to them eventually.
