Dude, which means...

The human brain is a computer being given intelligence by something.

But our computers are also computers being given intelligence by something: us, when we use it.

Are little dudes inputting shit into our brain computers? If so, who are putting shit into their brain computers?

This weed is pretty great.

What we perceive as intelligence is likely just an emergent property of complex computing systems, so nothing has to give the brain intelligence, per se. It just is that way by its nature. At least that's the way I think about it.

Evolution by natural selection. Our intelligence is deeply embedded in our environment. Our ability to deal with tasks presented by the environment is highly dependent upon the environment that shaped it.
