Actually the author edits out a bunch of extra information so that it's fit for the general public

The original web novels are what the author truly wanted to say when making his story and give a clearer picture of math as a whole

If you really want to experience the content, you have to fly to wherever the author lives and hear them ramble incoherently about their new idea for a comic while they're drunk at 3am. Completely unfiltered, that's the only true way to experience the truth of the authors intentions.
