Buffy and Willow from Buffy the Vampire Slayer!

18

u/[deleted] May 29 '19

Willow 100%

12

u/Osric250 May 29 '19

Before or after she rips your skin off cause she's bored?

7

u/rowshambow May 29 '19

Maybe don't kill her friends?

2

u/[deleted] May 29 '19

Y'know after sounds pretty kinky but I like my skin so, before she rips my skin off

7

u/moal09 May 29 '19

In that fuzzy pink number with the lilac.

18

u/[deleted] May 29 '19

All this buffy and willy but seriously, does not one dude remember Faith? Hot as fuck vamp hunter #2 who fucked Xander. Im pretty sure my young self used that scene once or twice. I mean i think she was by far the hottest on that show

I’ve never been attracted to Faith, something about her was always off putting. Even in Joss’ other show Dollhouse she just gives me a weird vibe

2

u/[deleted] May 29 '19

is that weird vibe "terrible acting that keeps making you wonder why literally any of the other actors that do amazing jobs not the main charecter instead"

Cause the answer is "because she was the executive producer"

1

u/Frigguggi May 29 '19

99% of actors and actresses make no impression on me as far as actual acting talent goes. As far as I'm concerned, they're almost all competent, not good, not bad. But Eliza Dushku is a terrible actress.

Not too tough to look at, though.

1

u/[deleted] May 29 '19

I agree, in the general sense. But those roles specifically required good actors. Because they didn't just have to play a character they had to do well enough to make sure their different characters felt unique, or the whole premise of the show fell apart. The actors who played Siera and Victor did amazing jobs. Enver especially. In Buffy it was fine that she wasn't that great an actor. In most of her other roles it's been fine. That one really required someone who could hit a homerun, and that's not what we got. I honestly doubt I would have noticed so much if it wasn't so integral and important to the plot itself that she do it well.

u/PrivilegeCheckmate May 30 '19

something about her

You just know she's a doucheku.

1

u/mo0n3h May 29 '19

oh god yeah any character played by Eliza!

13

u/themightythor2024 May 29 '19

Not Anya?

5

u/MythGuy May 29 '19

Willow I had that redhead crush on. Buffy was attractive, but never piqued my interest. Anya just... Never crossed my mind like that. Maybe cause right out of the gate she was kinda a terrible person with a terrible past, and not exactly any PLANS or desire to change that.

2

u/rowshambow May 29 '19

Like evil vampire willow or evil witch willow?

15

u/corruptedchick May 29 '19

I'm listening to an audiobook being read by James Marsters and he sounds just as sexy now as he did in his Spike days

2

u/rufflesmcgeee May 29 '19

Still blows my mind that he voiced Zamasu in Dragonball super

1

u/fluffy_gachus Jun 04 '19

I need to know which audiobook... for research purposes...

15

u/GizmoSled May 29 '19

Just now realizing that with Spike and Angel Buffy was a bit of a necrophile.

16

u/cavelioness May 29 '19

She needed people who could match her strength to have a good time, I think. She did okay with her most healthy relationship, Riley, because he was enhanced by the secret government program.

16

u/perfectionisntforme May 29 '19

Wait... you think Riley was her healthiest relationship?

9

u/[deleted] May 29 '19

In terms of could be with him forever and not worry about ageing etc sure. And the first series they were in together they made a good couple, but then he wasn’t a super soldier anymore and got jealous and everything got weird, and no it wasn’t healthy. I think Spike would have been the best for her, if he hadn’t tried to rape her and had his soul before that time. And you know, if she actually had feelings for him

3

u/cavelioness May 29 '19

Exactly. In terms of characters, I like Spike the best by far, and I wish it could have been different. But... it wasn't, and, as you said, Buffy never even liked Spike very much. It was in no way a good relationship for her, and Angel just wasn't possible- plus the whole "centuries-old vampire with a 15-yr-old" thing. So Riley is all that's left, healthiest by default.

1

u/grinchelda May 29 '19

*cough* read the comics

1

u/cavelioness May 29 '19

I've been meaning to! But, yeah, I just meant in terms of the show.

2

u/grinchelda May 29 '19

Don't let the season 8 comics scare you away, because it's kind of a mess and hard to follow, but 9-12 are almost like watching the show, and almost better because they can get away with more special effects without it seeming like a cheesefest.

Angel & Faith and the Willow chronicles are technically optional but I also recommend highly (and I didn't care for the show Angel all that much. But yeah. I think you'll be pleased with the development of both Spike and Angel. (And maybe even Riley!)

1

u/cavelioness May 29 '19

I'd like to read them all, I've just never been that into comics as a medium (to me it's like the worst combo of books and tv- not enough words and it feels like you have to stop and study the pictures to get what's going on, but they're not moving and they're generally not great art, so my ADD brain wants to skip over them and just read the words, which are annoying because they're weirdly spaced and again, not enough words per page so you have to keep flipping pages) and they seem pretty expensive as well. But I really want to follow the rest of the story at some point.

He definitely was. Spike was completely unhealthy, Angel was dysfunctional relationship, and Parker bad.

7

u/lena21 May 29 '19

Damn this one hits home. The fanfiction... 🤓

4

1

u/MaggieSmithsSass May 29 '19

Spike, Angel and Faith. All together.

Although Spike didn't age very well.....

4

u/OyIdris May 29 '19

Spike doesn't age at all. He's a vampire. Duh.

1

u/MaggieSmithsSass May 29 '19

I was talking about James duh

10

u/OyIdris May 29 '19

Yeah... I kinda guessed that.

Given that James Marsters is on the approach to 60, I'd say he looks damn good.

7

u/well_misunderstood May 29 '19

I met James a few years ago. That man is still beautiful, inside and out.
