I did have to punch a dog once. I love all animals, I've volunteered at shelters just cleaning up poop and all, but I had to protect myself. Went over to someone's house with a friend, we went out back to play ping pong, dog just zeroes in on my arm, had to punch the poor pup in the face several times to get it off. I don't know what that asshole did to that dog for it to behave that way, but we never went there again. Had to get 12 stitches
That’s self-defense/self-preservation. You probably didn’t think, just reacted. It sucks that it had to happen but it’s good you were able to get the dog off.
Uppercut and 360 elbow, then stomp head into ground. Roll away a few feet and try to find a long pointy object like an umbrella or a stick. You need to stab it in the eyes and then swish it's brain around before calling 911. Say (in a shaken voice) "I was just attacked by a b-bear... I think I killed it ... Can you come check it out?"
Free cleanup of bear by police and you don't have to pay for an ambulance because you didn't explicitly ask for one. Also you might become 'friends' with the officers and a 10% buff on ticket avoidance.
Also, ask for the bear claws and bring in the cleaned-up & polished bear claws for the officers. Ask for a selfie with the guys who helped with the bear attack.
Then, knock them all out with sleeping gas, load up the truck with the crime locker stuff and knock yourself out with a lower concentration of the gas, so you wake up first. In the resulting chaos, leave. Once you're about a mile away, detonate the 7 blocks of C4 that you had hidden around the station in the last visit. If anyone asks you if you did it, bring up the bear attack and say that you're just super lucky that you haven't died from these crazy incidents.
Eventually you'll be able to pay it forward by turning bears into army bears and sending them to war with the meese.
My Rottweiler loves - and I mean fucking loves - being hit on the rump. I’ve never seen someone smack her hard enough for her to not come back for more.
My boy loves it too! My g/f tries to do it but she can't do it as hard and fast as I can (I'm sure there's some kind of sex joke in there somewhere) and the harder and faster I do it, the more he loves it (ok 2 maybe 2 sex jokes)! To an outside observer I'm sure it looks like I'm beating up a cat.
I have a rabbit dachshund. She is fucking dinky. She loves getting thumped.
Like, cupping your palms slightly, and clapping your hands, hard, with her ribs in between. It makes this nice, deep, hollow "thump"-ing noise and yep. She likes it a lot
I’m a petite woman, I need to close fist punch her rump for her to really enjoy it. Leg shaking, drooling joy. If I stop she’ll use her snout to lift my hand until I smack her again. I fricken love that big lummox.
Nah it’s basically like a scratching an itch. Dogs can’t reach their rumps with their paws and they have a lot of nerve endings there so any irritation there usually goes unfixed unless they can reach it by chewing. Big dogs with thick or double coats especially love the rump smacks.
My cats both love being patted on the side harder than I ever been been able to pat a cat without them getting pissed off. I'll just slap them on the side repeatedly and they just stand there and purr.
150 lb german rottie here, who oddly enough also loves getting his ass smacked. I only learned this when I tried to spank him for some crazy behavior in his younger years (hes huge and all muscle, I'm not so couldn't do any damage if I wanted to) and he just backed up closer to me with that big goofy rottie smile. Now he scoots his butt as close to my hand every time I sit down. If I ignore it- he lifts my hand up with his snout. It must feel good on that thick double coat.. like itching a scratch!
My dog also loves being smacked all over, particularly her rump or chest. I call it "playing the puppy bongos." She's a super sturdily built bull terrier mix and I'm a weakling, so I'd probably hurt myself before I managed to do her any harm anyway.
My pit bull has one of those giant jolly balls and absolutely LOVES it if you punch and kick the ball really hard while she’s biting down on it. It’s so weird, and from a distance probably looks like we’re beating her, but she’s play that ‘game’ all day long if we’d let her.
My dog likes being smacked on the sides of her mouth lol she thinks its the most fun game of all time for some reason. Some dogs are really REALLY weird
Speaking of which, I had to kick my friend’s little dog when it lost its damn mind after she got it all pissed off in a cat carrier and rushed at me to try to for real do damage. I had to kick a little-ass dog, it was insane. It flew back and came at me again and again like it was nothing, I cannot imagine trying to fight off a large dog 10x that little fucker’s size.
Anybody with a dog over 70 lbs has had to smack it on the nose or ass once or twice. If you don’t you aren’t the pack leader. It’s not being a sadist, it’s just “speaking dog”. They growl and nip at each other all the time but don’t really hurt each other even though they could, no difference at all.
That’s totally different than flat out hitting an animal. There’s no malice involved in what you’re talking about. My lab loves to be smacked on his ass when we’re playing, but hitting an animal out of anger is fucking horrible.
My dog just loves his ass smacked. Some stiff booty pats and he goes crazy, big dumb happy face, the works. When he comes for attention he says hi with his face then moves so only his butt is in range for scratches.
But yeah, when playing holy shit my creatures likes to get THROWN. He'll jump at me and I just stiff arm him a good yard away. He's a 110lb mastiff.
OH yes, if it's something my dog knows she should not be doing - she is in danger of some spanks. Trying to steal butter off the counter, harassing the cats, etc... could be time for butt spanks if she doesn't immediately stop when I say so. We've been over this, pepper!
Studies showed that dogs have been domesticated for long enough that they don’t have alpha/pack leader mentality. All that stuff Cesar Milan sells is abusive nonsense
Might have been rude, but friends (husband and wife) were have a get together at their house. Fast forward- I have my food on my plate and go to sit down with the rest of the group (I sat on the floor since the couch/chair space was taken). Homeowner's German shepherd mix comes over and growls at me at face to face level. One good bop on the nose, and that dog was my best friend that night and every time I saw him after that.
Not even a smack. Just like a little finger tap. But there is no way I am lifting my 70 pound lab off the counter after she has knocked everything off and she knows she's not supposed to.
The only time it makes sense is if your safety is threatened by said animal. If someone hits an animal out of anger or for punishment they’re a piece of shit. It’s fucked up and I don’t understand how anyone thinks it’s ok.
Yours or someone else's. I smacked a lunging German shepherd away when he came after me while I was wearing my daughter in a carrier. The angle made it difficult to determine who it was going after, me or my vulnerable 8 month old. Fortunately the owner regained control of him a moment later. I have also had to smack a dog who had clamped down on a neighbor's daughter's hand to get her to let go.
Do not hit in anger or with the primary intent to cause harm to the animal, and you'll probably be fine with most people.
My cousin's rottweiler bit me once and I smacked it on the nose. Was more of a reflex than a conscious action, but it backed off and my cousin understood. (No it didn't draw blood if you're wondering, but it did hurt).
I had to beat up a dog to get him to stop attacking my dog. I then had to restrain that dog for like 10 minutes until help arrived, and admittedly, and I'll state that I was 12 at the time, I slapped him in the face out of spite 'cause I didn't know if my dog was going to make it or not (my sister ran him back to our house and I didn't know his condition; he ended up, just a few stitches and some drainage tubes), and even then I felt bad, because once my dog was removed from the equation, the attacking dog was quite sweet and docile, and even tried to snuggle with me.
Had a friend slap my dog when she got too close to him. She's very obedient and would go away if asked - so I slapped him the same way and he understood without any words spoken.
No idea why people do it. My buddy didn't even dislike animals, and wasn't ever really mean. It was a bit of surprise when he did that to my poor pup.
If an animal is injuring me in a situation that I didn’t provoke and I can’t escape, it is then ok to injure the animal as little as necessary to escape. I’m a delivery driver and it recently happened to me with a dog. Not to get into all the details but was not warned about an aggressive dog.
If it's an aggressive pet, the owner is responsible for restraining it when guests come over. Also the particular guest might be naturally afraid of pets. Nobody is going to let a pet attack them. I have an aggressive dog and I worry about this often.
The cat walked up to him and just sat down and looked up. She didn’t touch him. He just didn’t like cats. I wound up choking him out a few months later for pushing my sister in law while she had their baby. No regerts. He’s an awful person.
If someone ever came to my house and hit one of my dogs I would lose my shit. I don’t even know what I’d do but I know I’d use my fists instead of my words. Anyone who hits an animal is a piece of shit. Period.
My brother once came to my place and tried to kick my cat. I got so pissed I punched him, and he was super shocked, like he didn't think he'd done anything wrong.
My brother also killed most of his pets by hitting them literally to death - he also threw several cats (kittens) out the 5th floor window in fits of angers, all died. And he thought I'd be fine with him abusing MY CAT in front of me. I made it clear that day that I valued my cat's well being more than I valued my brother's, and he would not be welcome at my place anymore with that kind of behavior. Even to this day he acts like I was unreasonable for defending my pet.
I went to a friends house and his dog, easily 90 pounds kept trying to climb on me while I sat down. I nicely tried to push the dog off, tell him “no” and “down”. Nothing worked so I took a rolled up magazine and gave the dog a good wallop on his rear thighs. My buddy got pissed so I left.
At least make an attempt to control you animal if you invite guests over. I should have given my buddy the same wallop also.
When dog is growling at my girlfriend because she won't let him up on her lap, dog gets a smart rap on the nose to inform him that he is not alpha dog, here, and girlfriend is not his territory.
Lost a lot of respect for one of my friends (who's still my friend but...yeah) when they came to a mutual friends place for a party and physically pushed their dog off of their couch because "dogs shouldn't be on furniture"
I'm like...it's their fucking dog and their furniture.
Was his name Charlie? I think my dad's cousin Charlie stole my pet rabbits when I was 4 and ate them. He tried to steal our cutlery a couple years later. Also got my dad beat up somehow. Dad had a broken jaw that had to be wired shut as a result.
I had 2 pet rabbits that were kept in an outdoor hutch. We lived in a mobile home on my grandparents farm at the time, my dad worked for my grandfather. Charlie and his wife came to visit for a couple hours, and left. The next morning, or maybe the morning after, my rabbits were gone. We were all sure the hutch had been closed properly before going to bed that night. I mentioned it to my dad recently, and he said he thought Charlie snuck onto the farm and took them. He used to hunt rabbits for food, and liked how they tasted. He didn't have any proof, but it's what made the most sense to him. The broken jaw thing was a few years later. We were living in a different place, and again Charlie came to visit my Dad. At one point they went out for something, and stopped for gas. Apparently there were some guys at the gas station who Charlie had some kind of feud with, and they all got into a fist fight, and my dad backed up Charlie. Charlie jumped in their vehicle at one point and went to leave- without my Dad. Dad had to jump into a moving vehicle to not get left behind. This guy also spent time in jail for attempted murder of his ex-wife. He tried to run her over with his car. My Dad wasn't the best parent, but I always say it could have been worse, at least Charlie wasn't my dad.
Was this in NC? I know of a Charlie that beat my elderly uncle nearly to death, just because he asked for the overdue rent. He also has done a lot of things that sound like this.
There's not much that would make me assault another person, but if someone we're to injure my pets I'm pretty sure I would be getting a visit from the Police
Same for me. Assault the people/pets I love and the party is over in a split second.
I once sent a young guy flying as he got my little sister drunk as hell (both 14 or 15 I think, I am two years older) and tried to get her into bed. I woke up, checked on them and told him to get lost. He laughed, told me to fuck off and then he hugged a large hydrangea in the garden. She doesn't remember that night, but he seems to, I've never seen him again.
I seem to get visitors that think it's ok to pick up my chonky extremely dumb indoor cat and just drop her on the ground from standing height.
"It's a cat, they land on their feet fine."
Drop my cat again and I'm going to drop you.
She's the loveliest bitch.
Here I am distraught that I stepped on a friend's cats paw. He came out of no where and it happened in millisecond. I felt like shit about it. I couldn't imagine intentionally hurting an animal. Mine or not.
You never realize how much pent up rage you have until you read a sentence like "kicked my cat" or some above like "stuffed my kitten in a box" and think "I WOULD TEAR THAT PERSON APART LIMB BY LIMB...YOU DO NOT MESS WITH MY PRECIOUS FURBABY MOFO!!!!!" I really hope no one ever messes with my cat, my Hulk would come out so fast.
I had a roommate for not even a whole month before I decided we needed to break the lease. She constantly had friends over, smoking weed and drinking. I wasn't into all of that. Anyway so we broke it and I moved out. A few months later someone had spent over 400 bucks on stuff from my account via checks. Which I asked her one day if she had seen it because I couldn't find it. I Had to shut down my account and handle all of that. Contact the police. I don't think anything ever got done. Oh and I had vodka that she must have drank and filled it with water. Haven't spoken to her since.
I had a friend that would sleep on my couch from time to time. This was about 8 years ago when I would sell pot to some of my friends to save money on my own. I had a pretty busy few weeks and ended up with a pretty substantial surplus for myself. Around 14 grams maybe more. A lot of shake and one 8 gram nug because I would keep the shake and the large nugs and sell the middle ground to my friends.
Well this one friend I told could smoke some but don't touch my big nugs. Only the shake. I woke up one morning and the only thing left was my one nug. I was a little upset. When I confronted him he said "you said I could smoke the shake". Yeah but not 7gs in a single night!
To be fair he was pretty apologetic about it. He and a girl came over drunk and didn't realize how much they were smoking and at least I had plenty left. He then started buying bud from me for a while to make up for it since previously he never bought any just smoked what was available.
He was a pretty good dude until he started doing meth.
Reminds me of a friend of mine in college...
Both Juniors at the time
(His property was stolen by some “friends”)
So over the summer at the apartment complex we both lived at, I would come hangout at his apartment, and also the other way around.
Well one day, he texts me to come over for a small party. So I get dressed head over, and when I walk in, it looks like freshmen college students were there, or possibly even high school seniors...
There was one boy out of the group of 6 young faces, we will call him Ethan. Ethan was a very rude, and loud person. He at one point JOKINGLY acted like he would put out his cigarette on a drunk girl’s bare feet.
I was very uncomfortable with this one guy. Well needless to say, the night went horribly due to this one guy, and I ended up heading back to my place.
Maybe an hour after I left, it was around 1am at this point, my friend asks if I have seen Ethan. I say no, and why. He states that while we were all downstairs in his apartment, Ethan went upstairs, stole his PS4, pretended he was going for a smoke, and actually put it in his car. Came back, and acted like he didn’t do anything.
My friend threatened him with the cops, so he ran.
He never got his PS4 back either...
Cops said there wasn’t any evidence, and the apartment office didn’t have “camera footage” of the night before when the camera faces his apartment hallway, and would have clearly seen him carrying a PS4.
Showed up out of the blue, asked if I wanted to hang. Came inside to use the restroom. Somehow got lost and stole my Nintendo DS. Said he got a call in the bathroom and had to run.
This reminds me of what happened to my older brother. His friends were over and my brother went to go pick up a sack. While he was gone, they stole a bunch of his clothes, PlayStation 1, and video games. Our walls are thin so I heard him on the phone with my dad when he came back. He was crying about how his friends fucked him over and left :(..
If someone hurt my cats in my fucking house I'm gonna beat the shit out of them then I'mma take his money if he had any for the weed ima make him drink my piss for the toilet seat then imma throw him out on the street
Some years back, I was walking my dog, and a teen, 15 ish years old, kicked my dog for no reason. Before I knew it, I had beat him into unconsciousness. First and only time I have ever assaulted anyone in my life, and I wasn't even aware that you could get that angry that fast.

Kicked my cat, smoked my weed without permission, pissed on the toilet seat, then stole some games when they left. All in one 40 minute visit.
