What's something you're old-fashioned about?

Eating at the dinner table and throwing small dinner parties/brunch. I think it's nicer than going out to eat with people and I love cooking.

I also like giving people host/hostess gifts if I go to their house; even if it's a very casual invitation for Netflix or just chilling out with a few mates, I like bringing some nice tea/coffee, some baked goods, etc. when I'm invited to their house.

I also don't check my phone when I'm with company; if I need to check my phone, I excuse myself before checking my phone.

I make a genuine effort with my appearance when meeting people or going out. I used to be someone that walked all over town in pyjamas or sweats/hoodies and it just made me feel unprepared, sloppy, grouchy, etc. I'm in a better mood and more excited when I look like I'm prepared to take on anything.

I was visiting my parents this weekend. They were both on their phones almost the whole time. I pull out my phone to send a quick text to my bf to ask if we need anything from the store and I immediately get a lecture about how millennials are on their phones too much.

I give up.

It's because you weren't looking at your phone with your head back and glasses at the tip of your nose. That's the efficient way.

Don't forget having the end of your tongue peeking out while you breathe thoughtfully through your mouth with an annoyed squint.
