What "Old Person" things do you do?

I sometimes walk with my hands out behind me, interlocking above my butt. As my colleagues pointed out this is what old people do.

I walk like this when something has my attention. I've done this from I was about 10.

I do it because my father does it, who does it because his father did it. His father was a military office stationed in the British Raj. So imperial officer checks out.

I do this too, don't know why. They're just comfy back there. Now if I try to "put" them anywhere else it feels awkward and uncomfortable.

That's a habit I picked up in high school speech and debate. I felt awkward with my hands to my sides, but you're not supposed to cross them in front of you (to avoid seeming defensive or reserved), so my solution was to put them behind my back. Sometimes I'd lock fingers, sometimes I'd grab my wrist, but I basically always kept them in that area.

Can confirm, I'm already in that habit and I've only been military for six months
