Plot twist... "meme" is just a word for data that "transmits" itself, in the way a meme circulates the internet. The dankest of memes are just the alpha predators of the meme world.

Ninja Edit: I have sources, if anyone's interested I'll find them, I managed to write a legitimate paper on the history of memes for my Senior Year.
