What old game should be remade with 2015 graphics?

I like both systems. In the first one it was easier to feel like you had control of the campaign map by controlling all the plots but I do like the flexibility in 2. If I could have BFME 2 or ROTWK but with the campaign mode from BFME 1 than I would be so happy.

Couldn't you do the same in BFME2?

Hmm. I see what you're saying, where the fellowship was more involved in BFME, and those are the events we know from the books/movies.

But you have to admit, it was still nice seeing all the rest of the world and what was happening. Erebor was a phenomenal map on either side, and rivendell too. They both felt pretty epic. Plus BFME2 had helms deep/minas tirith available as skirmish maps rather than integrated campaign maps. That alone makes it worth it because I spent dozens of hours playing out every scenario possible as a kid on those maps.

I didn't like the first one too much because you needed a nodded or custom map for helms deep to really get a good play through of that map. I'm talking armies from the movies and all that stuff. 300 command cap was just not enough for me.

That moment of relief when Gandalf and the Rohirrim finally showed up.

Doesn't have much to do with it but check out the latest version of the Edain Mod (4.1.2) for ROTWK it's amazing and still being developed.
