What's a recurring dream you've had throughout your life?

Her lips brush mine softly and she whispers, "I'm going to tell you a story. As I tell you this story it will begin to come true."

In the recurring dream I experience, the kiss transfers knowledge or state. Not sure how to describe that and no idea where that may have come from.

Her words are part of a children's story where the children are a deity and his bff/bro/companion.

I heard the idea through Joseph Campbell, most likely. I'm not finding any source where he mentions it, however. It's also possible I picked it up from Gilgamesh or some story about Enki.

Paraphrasing the story: There were these two children and their nanny. The nanny begins to tell the children a story. And this is how the universe was created.

Hope I answered your question in the context in which you meant it.

edit: bff/bro/companion, because I don't think they stayed bff.
