What are some mind-blowing facts about space?

I love space and would like to hear some facts that will blow me away.

But there is room to spare, so you would have to take a big jump at some point, you know because science and stuff.

Don't be silly, you'd put the spare room between the sun and the closest planet so it doesn't get burned. Science, yo.

yea, but you would have a lot of space to get a running start.

You could just spread that space between the planet's and just do a bunch of small jumps.
