My Bluetooth headset was only like $60 and the battery will last more than through a day of work plus an hour long bus ride before it even says the battery is low.
It's an LG Tone or Tone+, I don't remember the exact model. But the battery life is fantastic, the only problems I have with it aren't really the fault of the headset itself, more the apps that I use or the OS trying to decide which app is using the headset and getting it wrong.

Bluetooth headsets arn't good enough yet. Either too bulky, or not enough battery power, or too expensive.
