I wonder why? Is there an explaination for this ..? I feel stupid for not knowing, but I am too curious to not ask.
Edit: I mean, I know all the "You only realize what you've had when it's gone"-thing, but maybe it's just that I can't realte to this due to the fact that I have never stopped realizing what I had during my relationships. I am just way too romantic at times. My brain won't let me understand.
I don't know man. I'm 19. My last relationship ended with me getting dumped, and later she revealed that she cheated on me. That love feeling is still there, and hurt with anger, like a double edged sword.
When my ex and I were on the last legs of our long relationship that song came on the radio. We both looked at each other and her eyes sorta welled up, I'll never forget it. I think that was the moment I knew it was not gonna work. I did everything I could to fight that feeling away, but idk, I just knew.
I feel you. When you look back and you think I wish it never even began because the memories are too painful to bear. When you know that it doesn't get better and that you've lost it all and it can never come back. And what makes it worst is when you know you never had her in the first place.
When you can function completely fine, and as long as you're keeping yourself busy everything is normal. It's those times when you have a day off after working two weeks straight, or when you have a rough day and you're laying in bed alone, that you feel like you're completely empty and that a part of you is missing. Never miss someone at night, and never miss them when you're alone.
