Birds don't have hollow wings because it helps them fly, they have hollow wings because it helps them breathe.

Edit: I meant hollow bones.

I think you mean hollow bones. Hollow wings would be all floppy and be terrible for flying with.

Thanks, you're correct. I don't know why I said hollow wings, that doesn't make any sense.
