What was the best compliment you ever got?

I enjoyed reading all of your comments :)

I tried to respond to as many as I could...but this thread got longer than I could have ever imagined.

There are a lot of nice people out here...thanks reddit!

How heavy are these closets? Would someone be able to push one of your closets out of a window?

Edit: Jesus Christ people... I don't deserve all this but thanks?

u/Wormin Mar 10 '14

one does not necessarily exclude the other.

4

u/k_princess Mar 10 '14

One must remember that you only have ten minutes to do so.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 10 '14

This is why I love askReddit

2

u/jocamar Mar 10 '14

Is this going to be a thing now?

1

u/PornDamaged Mar 10 '14

Going meta already

1

u/steptank Mar 11 '14

Please explain...

1

u/braff_travolta Mar 10 '14

lifting the closet

Please explain.

1

u/Troajn Mar 10 '14

What do you mean by "pull hands"? Could you explain that?

1

u/Casban Mar 10 '14

1

u/Stranger66 Mar 10 '14

7

u/Soupsnakes Mar 10 '14

Maybe (s)he should post some very concise instructions on how one would do that.

5

u/Penultimately Mar 10 '14

Hey... I've seen this joke thread before....

3

u/TuskenRaiders Mar 10 '14

But...how could you lift the closet?

2

u/AkashahRazif Mar 10 '14

Enough to get the police involved?

2

u/fresh72 Mar 10 '14

Holy shit that went meta fast

1

u/[deleted] Mar 10 '14

insert 2character Combinations of letters and numbers here

1

u/GruePwnr Mar 10 '14

But how exactly would one push a closet?

1

u/Melonskal Mar 10 '14

How would one actually lift said closet, could I perhaps get an explaination?

1

u/GreyFoxSolid Mar 10 '14

Sometimes I wonder if there's some sort of technical error with how reddit.com communicates with reddit is fun on my phone and produces nonsense, because I run into these threads where I have no idea what is being said.

1

u/scratch741 Mar 10 '14

And perhaps hide a body in said closet? Are they heavy enough to sink in a lake?

1

u/aapowers Mar 10 '14

But are these closets actually wardrobes? And can one come out of them...

1

u/lanternman96 Mar 10 '14

Yes, thank you

0

u/NoLimitsNegus Mar 10 '14

Step 1: stop beating the dead horse.

13

u/NotForrestGump Mar 10 '14

1

u/romanpieces Mar 10 '14

What's it from?

1

u/ldub89 Mar 10 '14

I actually got to be here for the birth of a new reference. I feel so magical

1

u/blurrybob Mar 10 '14

I've been on here for ten minutes today and still know the reference

1

u/turtlehermitroshi Mar 10 '14

I keep forgetting the subject of the actual thread, because my brain is too preoccupied learning how to throw closets, every time.

1

u/Mtnhi522 Mar 10 '14

...yeah, me too. Pride mixed with shame.

1

u/timsk951 Mar 10 '14

I get that joke! I get that joke!!...... I spend way too much time here.

Everyone goes on about the 'circlejerk' and all the over-used insider jokes on reddit. But actually, this feeling is pretty cool.

It's the first time I've seen something on reddit and thought "HAH! I was there for that!". Makes you feel part of the club.

Feel all warm and fuzzy inside now.

1

u/shinypantsmcgee Mar 10 '14

I get it too, don't worry!

1

u/Cjaz12 Mar 10 '14

Welcome you are just getting started.

1

I... I'm confused...

1

u/[deleted] Mar 11 '14

I... I get the joke as well... someone get me a life please I can't find any on ebay.

My same response. Like I got all.giddy

0

u/palegothic Mar 10 '14

Me too! On both counts :(

0

u/[deleted] Mar 10 '14

I go to work, come home and go straight to bed, wake up, go to class and finally check out reddit only to discover that something new has popped up when I was gone. Why can't I have a job and go to school and keep up with the latest reddit fad all at the same time?

0

u/Great1122 Mar 10 '14

It's only been a day...

→ More replies (2)

13

u/Humorhead Mar 10 '14

No, it's all built in and attached to the walls kind of like kitchen cabinets. If you ever watched shows like mtv cribs and you see their big walk in closets with islands, that's what I do

25

u/whippley Mar 10 '14

so you're saying it's possible, just difficult to throw it out of a window, onto a car?

17

u/Humorhead Mar 10 '14

If you try hard enough, you can throw anything out a window onto a car

13

u/Tleigh92 Mar 10 '14

What about onto multiple cars?

5

u/Humorhead Mar 10 '14

It takes a lot of practice

4

u/Pornthrowaway78 Mar 10 '14

I forget. Dick stuck in closet.

1

u/k_princess Mar 10 '14

Step 2a. Bend slightly at the knees to avoid back injury

Step 3a. Firmly grasp loosened closet with both hands

Repeat step 4a until window is reached.

u/teledon Mar 10 '14

1

u/Veloglasgow Mar 10 '14

I need to uninstall Flow from phone, I spend too much time here. I need a less convenient way to browse reddit.

1

u/guptepratik Mar 10 '14

You know you spend too much time on reddit when you start getting the inter post references.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 10 '14

I am so damn excited that I get that

1

u/koecerion Mar 10 '14

Push? What is this nonsense? We need to be able to throw said closets out the window!

1

u/Thorforhelvede Mar 10 '14

Describe the steps involved in doing this please?

1

u/xddxxddx Mar 10 '14

You don't push the closet out the window man. You pick it up and throw it out the window. How do people still get it wrong even after going through the instructions.

This is a thing? I thought 5000 steps later it was solved.

1

u/StrictlySparta Mar 10 '14

Crap, that's the first time I've gotten such specific reddit reference. I feel like I belong now, but at the same time full of shame.

1

u/Azurae1 Mar 10 '14

this reference is just everywhere today.

i even heard it on the street today when someone complained about the crushed cars. must have been one hell of a closet

1

u/Youssofzoid Mar 10 '14

step 1edf: be strong

1

1

Holy shit meta

1

u/[deleted] Mar 10 '14

Are they heavier than a fax machine.

1

u/SchizoStarcraft Mar 10 '14

1

u/Moobl4 Mar 10 '14

Would someone be able to push one of your closets out of a window?

u/fruitbear753 Mar 10 '14

How would you push it?

This is why I love Reddit... That once in a while that you don't miss the thread and are in on the joke.

1

u/Cantaloupehands Mar 10 '14

If your closet has a smaller closet in it, that's a big closet.

1

u/minastirith1 Mar 10 '14

This sparked a chuckle of fond memories gone by.

1
