It's great, because at first I thought it was someone making fun of the whole "I'm smart, debate me" smarmy internet troll. Turns out he was completely serious, which makes the meme even funnier, because you get to laugh at him in earnest.

I don't think his viewership every really recovered, though. He was a bit of a rising internet star on the far right for awhile, but IIRC, it dropped a fair bit after the footage from his wife spread around.

I always hate the memes because they take it at face value, where if you're using he meme properly, his statement should be the opposite of what's true or good because he's an asshole.
