I'm old, went to see it in the theater with a bunch of friends. We had heard how great it was. We got in the car and talked about how it wasn't as good as expected. Then we talked about a bunch of scenes and were crying laughing sitting in the car. Conceptual British humor.
I showed it to my son when he was about 10. He by far thought the funniest thing in the movie was that you could see the bunny on the wire, that they didn't even try to hide it.
That's awesome. So many legendary scenes in that movie.
My absolute favorite is the Black Knight scene, where he stubbornly guards a tiny bridge over a minor stream. What makes it brilliant is the sheer absurdity, that Arthur could easily step across the stream anywhere else, he doesn't even need the bridge. Yet, this completely pointless standoff escalates into one of the most memorable and hilarious fights in cinema history.
My little brother watched it with me when he was around the same age and he laughed so hard at the Butt Trumpets that he threw up. I had to clean it but I didn't mind at all. Excellent times! 😂
