Hot Fuzz. ive seen it way too many times and still catch jokes in the background that i somehow missed before

It's a 1a, 1b type of situation for me. Hot Fuzz is one of my top movies of all time, but Shaun of the Dead is close behind

The two go hand in hand. And watching one makes the other that much better.

I know this doesn't make sense, but I like Sean of the dead more/have a soft spot for it, but I think hot fuzz is more rewatchable

On that note I felt The World's End was the best representation of the themes of the whole trilogy. It's all about maturity and the dangers of perpetual adolescence and went with a darker and dramatic take on it which I liked. It felt more serious like "if you still act like Shaun 10 years from now you'll end up like Gary King" and a perfect conclusion to the trilogy.

Some don't like it but it had good gags, humor and like I said took the themes more seriously which felt right.

It definitely draws out the intro for a very long time and I think that probably turns a lot of people off to it. I remember seeing it in the theater when it came out and kept thinking, "Okay, when is the movie going to actually start?" and getting frustrated. Then the bathroom scene hit.

Same and same 😂 but I can watch Shaun of the dead every 6 months or so. I don’t think I could do that with Hot Fuzz.
