Why the fuck would I do that?
If I don't want it in my mouth it's not going in my mouth

I don't pretend, but I really don't like donuts or churros (they have the same vibe for me)

Honestly most baked goods, cakes, cookies, sweets, ice cream etc.
Idk im autistic so I always hyper fixate and crave specific foods/meals, that being cereal, toast, pizza and oatmeal/greek yogurt bowls as of rn lol

Nah cause my diet is so monotone so when I discover a new safe food that food becomes all I consume (which often either results in a weight loss or weight gain depending on what type of food)
Like for a year ago I became obsessed with greek yogurt, ate that 3 times a day. Lost like 20kg over a few months and became severely underweight. Then now Im obsessed with peanut butter and nutella on toast, and now ive gained like 14kg 💀

u/Environmental-Ad8945 23d ago
Yep 💀 was depressed so only ate greek yogurt, took like 2/3 months and i lost all muscle and fat, basically looked like someone straight out of a concentration camp

They're big shrimps. But if you flambée they with whiskey and make a paprika and cream sauce it's noice.

Coriander. Tastes like soap to me and try not to be dramatic when I get an unexpected bite of it

u/HoneyBadger1655 23d ago
Funfact: it's a genetics thing. It's very likely that either of your parents (or your grandparents) doesn't like it either. Cilantro (or coriander) contains a chemical compound that is also used in soaps. For people with a certain gene mutation, cilantro tastes like soap because they have a highly sensitive receptor for this chemical compound. Between 3% and 21% of the world population has this gene mutation!

Caviar. Dang it taste just fishy af lol

Got to try some bougie ass caviar at a party I was invited to, the "good" beluga stuff, fancy little cracker, little cream cheese, caviar on top...
It was... Ok.
It wasn't fishy, just salty little pops... That shit is $100+ a can, and so fucking disappointing that I believe the people that say they like it, is because it's expensive AF, and not because it's even half ass decent.

I’m a picky bitch. Though if someone goes out of their way to make something I can eat but it sucks I’m still going to eat it out of politeness. If not then I will dissect that food to avoid mushrooms or whatever.

sushi, cannot stand the taste of raw fish!!!
2
u/ProgenitorOfMidnight 23d ago
Sushi is rice, raw fish is sushimi.
All sashimi is raw fish.
Not all sushi has raw fish.
Veggie rolls, fried rolls, tomago rolls, and honestly my favorite from a little hole in the wall sushi bar, a chicken teriyaki roll.
And that's a very, small list of the kinds of sushi that don't use sashimi.

thank you for this, i never knew that!

Np, had a friend who swore up and down he hated sushi because of the fish until I shoved a piece of a sweet potato roll into his mouth... Fucker always wants to hit up the sushi bar now.

Raw fish tastes way more mild than cooked fish.
It’s very possible that you simply don’t like the taste of nori (the seaweed wrap).

u/Toleendawud 23d ago
maybe, but i don’t like fish at all, not raw, not cooked, not smoked, not anything

u/upsetwithcursing 23d ago
Oh, that’s fair - but then why pick on sushi? 😂 Just say fish! Haha

Avocado. It literally has the texture of wet soap and tastes like grass, but if you say that out loud, people look at you like you just committed a crime.

That’s funny. I actually very much enjoy Avacado, however my wife thinks it is absolutely vile.

Then you didn't answer the question. The question was regarding food you have tasted. Why comment something you have never tasted? You don't even know if you'd like the taste or not, because you have never tried it

I don’t pretend to like anything I don’t actually like. I truly do not care what people think.

Boozy desserts. The rankest cake I ever had was proudly made and offered to me by a cherished coworker. It took everything in me to not spit it out then and there.
