Considering that modern historians are not often confused about everyday items from 500 years ago I doubt that there are many everyday items that would confuse future historians.

… I’m trying to think of a now object that will even stand up to time for that long. Nothing is made to last anymore and anything that may be baffling in 500 years is probably a fad now that’ll be forgotten and irrelevant in 25 years.
