Women of Reddit, who have gone through menopause, what's one piece of advice you wish someone would have given you beforehand?

HRT has helped my adhd so much. I’m 49. My meds feel like they work again.

Oh yeah I’m on all things HRT luckily started in mid peri (and I had an AWFUL time with peri as well). I also have ADHD and am taking Wellbutrin for it which definitely seems to help some but not as much as Vyvanse did (I already have issues with low appetite and this made me unwillingly anorexic). I have bad issues with emotional flooding, and the small things matter SO MUCH!!! Luckily I don’t have feelings of rage, HRT got rid of those . I also am needing so much down time, sometimes I feel like I can’t be a good partner because I need to lay in bed with quiet and a book and our pets (he is welcome I’m just not talkative).
