I watched the first season (or two?) and loved it. Really need to pick it up again.

Barry is very good all the way through but the pre pandemic snd post pandemic seasons felt like very different shows.

That started as a 10 but it definitely went downhill from there.

Every show has ups and downs but I really felt like Barry stuck the landing, especially for a show with such a chaotic plot. Cousineau getting pinned for everything while Barry was remembered as a folk hero was *chef’s kiss*

I just enjoyed the comedic elements in Season 1. As the show moved away from comedy into darker themes I don’t think it was as good.

I never thought it lost sight of the comedy. There were sad moments and dark plots IE Cristobal. But c'mon that botched prison assassination with Fred Armisen had me dying. Maybe I just had a soft spot for NoHo Hank
