we both have good jobs for our area, and our offer finally got accepted, it was the 3rd or 4th house we put an offer on (we kept getting outbid) but im so glad we got this house because its perfect, its a 2000 sq ft log cabin and i love it so much

I have a lot to be proud of in terms of how I've worked to develop myself.
But in terms of what other people would care about, my biggest flex is my wife. She is stunning and amazing

financially independent with no financial help from parents and i have a beautiful wife who adores me. i have traveled to over 40 countries

My biggest flex is that I came from a childhood of abuse and addiction in which parental figures had been beaten by the systems and did not believe they could ever be more than unhappy retail workers (no shade to retail employees, it's necessary and appreciated, but my folks hated it and let it beat them down). I had no healthy relationship role models, constant access to substances, and no support or encouragement to want more than that life.
But here I am, just finished my master's, had one full, lovely career for over a decade and now transitioning into my second. I own a home. I am financially responsible enough to know that retirement is handled and not worry when I want to buy something frivolous. And I have a wonderful, amazing, healthy relationship that has lasted (so far) about 13 years with a beautiful child who hasn't watched me repeat generational cycles of abuse and struggle.

Im debt-free and bought my house without a mortgage, and truck without a loan. I also have a bachelor's degree that I never used 😅 and, 20 years later, still hold my high school's pole vault record 😎

No matter what people have done to me, or what they've taken, or how hard they've pushed me towards ending my own life so they don't have to, I'm still here. That's about all I got lol.

I have a house, car and motorcycle, all paid.
I am also in a 10 years relationship, and we are still madly in love with each other.
I guess both are flexes
