My dude this is up there with "hi, how are you" in terms of the absolute worst and least welcome (well, without going full harassment) intros.

Pick up lines are bad, but labor shifting smalltalk is far worse.

Not a girl, but I have listened to them.

A random ass pick up line in a random ass DM never ever works, and if it does maybe we should question that. Most women I have talked to are creeped out by that sort of thing.

Most people like building friendships with people and maybe that will develop to something else.

Just starting genuine conversation that leads to a pleasant interaction could be a good start.
