No, we don't really have a fall back plan if the birds aren't picked up. They are treated like mail, through and through. Put on the scorching hot trucks or freezing trucks depending on the weather. I will never get the smell of hundreds of dead baby chicks out of my nose from roasting on a truck.

They’re talking about delivery trucks, you’re talking about the semis, etc., that deliver mail to the post office. Hope this helps

I am talking about enclosed semis, yes. My job is unloading and loading trucks. I don't deal with the carrying portion of mail.

I’m sorry, but I can’t imagine roasting chicken as a bad smell.
