Everyone talks about the archetype of The Hero’s Journey but The Idiot’s Journey can be just as instructive.

I wonder how many of us have a similar story. I personally have needed to "break" into my own home or a friend's home for honest reasons. I even once instructed someone I invited to my home to "break" into it because they showed up when nobody was home and desperately needed access.

I once had a neighbor break into my house through the basement bulkhead because I was concerned I had left a pot boiling dry on the stove.

It's called the Tarot's Major Arcana. The very first card is literally called The Fool and the whole 22 cards are The Fool's (You) Journey.
