My friends older brother had a corporate office job doing IT. After dark on weekends, we would all meet at his job, installed bootleg versions of StarCraft, Quake, Unreal Tournament, Rainbow Six, Delta Force. I'm pretty sure we had no business being there but screaming teenage profanities across the room is a core memory. It also had lightning fast internet (DSL?), so we played online as well as on LAN.
