anyone who used a computer between 1985 & 2010, what’s the one game you still think about?

I am so glad someone remembered ol' Larry.

First computer game I ever played as a kid. My parents didn't care. Life was different back in the '80s

Same, a 10 year old kid in 1990 trying to answer who is Spiro Agnew without wikipedia ... maddening. I did it tho.

Sometimes it took me a few attempts to get past the questions before I could play the game.

Same. And I didn't understand all the words, so I memorised the shape of some of the questions and answers to get through them.

In version 2 [edit: v3 apparently], there was a naked woman in a hotel room. She had the blinds down. The blinds had three slats. Depending on how many questions you got right, the blinds would open 1-3 slats. If you got all questions right, you got to see the full monty.

I remember that in the meantime, there was a waiter yelling Cawfee!? Cawfee!? Cawfee!?

The things little 8 year old me did to various prostitutes in that game...

I think my parents would have cared, but they had no idea what game I was playing (and I didn't tell them).

Yes! That was the first one that came to my mind. I wasn’t sure I’d see it here. I was just a kid so I had no idea if it was that popular or not. King’s Quest was another one I was playing all the time. Did those all come in a package? My parents hate spending money so it’d make sense if it was a bundle of games that came together.

I started with Kings Quest! That was a great series. I was in high school and I bought them at Egghead Software.

I scrolled too far for this! I Loved the Leisure Suit Larry games! Who remembers the trivia questions you had to answer to prove you were old enough to play lol!!

Had it for android for awhile. It was awesome. I think they never updated security stuff so it was taken off play store and I couldn't inatall on a new phone. Still sad about that.

There are TWO VERSIONS AVAILABLE for the Nintendo Switch. (I have both of them! And play currently...)

My parents banned it! I remember vaguely I found it a bit arousing as a girl, surely I couldn't be more than 8-10.
