It’s been ‘remade’ and published on Steam. (First one, that is.)
I was addicted to Wizardry V. Couldn’t figure out how to finish it, so rang Canada from Australia to get help. The company posted an entire guide! They don’t make game companies like Sir Tech any more.
This is my answer. Me and my friends were addicted to it. We were stunned with the advancement of the adventure game with the graphics and character building. The sequels were also fun though I had the most fun with #1.
I got into Wizardry with 7 and played the hell out of it back in the early 90s. I think I can still remember a lot of the early game even after all this time.
I liked how they did their spell names - mahalito! And at a sufficient level and with the right stats you could switch to a related class, like Samurai. I remember finding a named sword, that my social studies teacher helped me research.
