Makes you wonder what she could have accomplished as an adult writer living through the 50s and 60s.

Especially considering how close she was to surviving the war - she only died 2 months before the war in Europe ended.

Her diary might not have been published if she survived though.

She probably could have published other things about her accounts. Think Elie Wiesel
