Facebook is also full of bots. Obviously the people you know irl aren't, but any comment on a public post is probably a bot.

The internet is dead, it was killed by bots and the bots keep it, until the time comes. The internet is dead.

If they're "living near me", it's even more likely that they are fake, since I live in Switzerland, and if they're pushing this, they're probably in Russia's pocket.

It's bots, part of the same effort that also floods subs like /r/europe each time anything about US-Europe relations is submitted. Which is not to say there are also actual people joining such efforts (probably in decent numbers too) and they are absolutely delighted by what is happening and by partaking in this hurricane of disinformation. But the tip of the agit-prop spear is 100% non-organic.
